Regulatory changes, following September 11th, require all air cargo (weighing more than 16 ounces) be tendered only by: “Known Shipper”. In order for you to ship any item weighing 16 ounces or more on commercial air carriers, you need to be a "known shipper". According to the specific directives of the Federal Aviation Administration and the Transportation Security Administration.
